The Pope and Young Club has announced its Conservation Program Grants for the 2012-2013 fiscal year. The Pope and Young Club Conservation Program, with a budget for the year of over $115,000.00, includes grants awarded to the following projects and programs in areas of education, pro-wildlife management, pro-bowhunting, research and partnerships:

A Grant Request Application can be obtained by calling the Club's headquarters at (507) 867-4144, or by emailing admin@pope-young.org. Grant Criteria
Conservation Grant proposals are reviewed by the Club’s Conservation Committee and recommendations are made to the Board of Directors for approval. Criteria for review of the proposals includes the following considerations:

Does the grant benefit bowhunting and impact the future of bowhunting?

Does it enhance the image and elevate awareness of the Pope & Young Club?
-
Does it enhance the image and elevate awareness of the values of bowhunting?
-
Does it reflect the Conservation Program mission statement?
-
What has been the previous performance of the proposal?
-
Does it benefit wildlife and habitat?
-
Is it “national” in scope or “local” in scope?
-
Do we get good “bang for the buck”?
