The Pope and Young Club Renews Support For The Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF)
The Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation’s mission is to work with Congress, governors, and state legislatures to protect and advance hunting, angling, recreational shooting and trapping. For over a decade the Pope and Young Club has supported the mission and legislative efforts of The Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation on behalf of bowhunters and Pope and Young Club members.
“Mission Partners play an integral role in ensuring we have the resources to effectively represent sportsmen and women today and in the future”, says Phil Hoon of the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation. “CSF is proud to be partnered with a respected organization like The Pope and Young Club who are committed to protecting and advancing hunting.”
Twenty-seven years ago, a dedicated and passionate group of sportsmen came together to form the Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus (CSC) to protect and advance our outdoor traditions of hunting, angling, recreational shooting, and trapping in the U.S. Congress. The Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) was formed shortly thereafter to serve as the link between the sportsmen’s community and the Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus (CSC).
Since the beginning, CSF has maintained a singleness of purpose that has guided the organization to become the most respected and trusted sportsmen’s organization in the political arena. The unique and collective force of the Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus (CSC), the Governors Sportsmen’s Caucus (GSC) and the National Assembly of Sportsmen’s Caucuses (NASC), working closely with CSF, and with the support of major hunting, angling, recreational shooting and trapping organizations, serves as an unprecedented network of pro-sportsmen elected officials that advance the interests of America’s hunters and anglers.
