The Pope & Young Club is a membership-based, 501(c)3 non-profit organization: a fraternity of like-minded, dedicated bowhunters—men, women and youth—committed to the principles of the Club.
Membership is entirely separate and unrelated to the Records, which is one of the programs maintained by the Club. Annual membership is $40.00.
The Pope & Young Club has three types of Membership that a New Member can choose.
If you are a new bowhunter, or simply interested in supporting the Pope & Young Club, you can become a SUPPORTING MEMBER.
If you have already harvested a North American big game animal with a bow, you can join as a GENERAL MEMBER.
Either, way, simply fill out our easy application form, and we'll select the correct membership for you!
If you are under the age of 18, you can choose YOUTH MEMBERSHIP (at only $10 a year).

Most important, though, a bowhunter’s membership can be a singularly important and fundamental demonstration of support for the protection of our bowhunting heritage and the promotion of fair chase and ethics in bowhunting.
Annual Membership dues are $40.00.
The Club has a very unique membership structure designed to reward both longevity as a Club supporter and longevity as an active and dedicated bowhunter/conservationist. Over time, members can advance to later membership levels—Regular Member and Senior Member. Details concerning the qualifications and procedures for advancement can be obtained in the Members Only area of this web site.
Lifetime General or Supporting Membership is also available. This is available either to existing Members wishing to renew at this designation or to someone just joining the Club. Because of our unique membership structure, this is not a true “lifetime” membership. There is still the ability for someone to advance to Regular Membership (and then on to Senior Membership), should they choose to do so. Lifetime General Members will possess all the benefits of Membership for as long as they live, unless they resign, are removed as a member by Board action, or advance to Regular Membership. In the event of any of these cases, the paid membership fee is forfeited. Benefits include ongoing General Membership without having to annually pay dues, a Lifetime General or Supporting Member engraved plaque, ongoing receipt of the Club’s newsletters and information on Club activities and events.
Lifetime General or Supporting Membership fee is based upon age at the time of becoming a Lifetime General or Supporting Member. If you are under the age of 65 (64 or less), the Lifetime General or General Membership fee is $750. If you are 65 or older, the Lifetime General or Supporting Membership fee is $500.
The Pope & Young Club highly values its Youth and we are committed to encouraging more youth to become bowhunters. On January 1, 2012, we unveiled Youth Membership. Available to any individual under the age of 18, with no hunting requirements, and at only $10 a year, this membership will allow many more youth to learn about archery, bowhunting, conservation, and the Pope & Young Club. Through this membership we will be able to connect with youth at the beginning of their bowhunting life, and therefore will be able to teach them the Pope & Young Club's values and beliefs at an early age!
