Providing support for the Pope and Young Club and bowhuting’s future. Introduced in April 2013, the Fred Bear Society is a special recognition of Pope and Young members who are making significant investments for the future of the Club and for bowhuntings
future, either by direct cash donation and/or by charitable planned giving. This includes designated gifts to the P&Y Trust Fund, the P&Y St. Charles Museum of Bowhunting, the P&Y Conservation/Outreach or the Club in general.
The Mission of the Trust Fund is to grow and maintain a permanent endowment to secure and promote bowhunting in North America through the perpetuation of the Pope & Young Club.
The money raised helps in the funding the Marketing Effort of the Club to promote the Club and the future of bowhunting with $10,000 contribution per quarter. In 2020, the Trust provided needed funding when the Club requested help.
P&Y Members meeting the required giving levels become eligible for induction into the Fred Bear Society and can be inducted at the next Biennial Convention Fred Bear Society inductees will get the following:
